Francophonie month in Kamloops


The month of March is an opportunity to celebrate Francophonie across the country. By visiting the Rendez-vous de la Francophonie website, you will have access, starting March 1, to all kinds of games and contests presented by the Language Portal of Canada, to editorials and videos from the RVF internet journal, to free films offered by the National Film Board, Just for Laughs comedy shows and the calendar of all the activities offered across Canada, many of which will be online.

In Kamloops, the Francophone Association joins forces with local partners to offer you a series of events to celebrate the beauty of the Canadian Francophonie in all its richness and inclusiveness:

Conversation club “Café Jasette”

What? The conversation club of the Kamloops Francophone Association invites you to special sessions to enjoy the program of this years’s Francophonie month.
When? Every Thursday in March from 6pm to 7pm

What? Read a book about anything French. Your book could be set in France/Quebec, feature French cooking, be written by a French author or even be written in French – the skies the limit! Tell us what you liked (or didn’t like) about by joining the Facebook Group or at your local TNRL branch and take a chance to win a prize.

“Les Chiclettes” at The Effie Arts Collective

In partnership with Musication Foundation, le Réseau des Grands Espaces and the Francophone Arts Council of British Columbia.
What? Les Chiclettes, a musical comedy show (more information by following this link).
Les Chiclettes is a Franco-Ontarian vocal trio that offers a show where rich and powerful voices with solid vocal harmonies and jazz music, evoking the sound of the Andrews Sisters, support humorous texts.

An audio correspondence in British Columbia
