The AFK hides treasures, dozens of books that we would like to enhance, throughout different projects. If you like reading, you can also take a look at our reading suggestions and joing our book club !

“Little Free Library”

Next to our front door, on 348 Fortune Drive.

We have installed a “Boîte à Livres”, which can be translated to “Book Box” (a Little Free Library, as it is more commonly called in English). How it works is very simple: you can either take a book or leave a book. There are books for all ages and all tastes. The kids enroled in our after-school program have decorated the book box so beautifully!

Book donations

January 2022 – Thompson Nicola Regional Library

We donated 59 books in French to the Thompson-Nicola Regional Library. You will soon find them on the shelves of the Kamloops library!

Saturday, October 23 from 8:30 to 12:30 – Kamloops Regional Farmers’ Market

We held a stall at Kamloops Regional Farmers’ Market, giving away books in French for you to read this winter. This event allowed us to meet many of Kamloops inhabitants and to get to know the diverse voices of the community.
