LE CIRCUIT FRANCOKAMLOOPS
L’Association Francophone de Kamloops a lancé le samedi 5 Mars 2016 dernier le circuit Géocache “FRANCOKAMLOOPS“. Cette activité vise à la fois à être interactive et éducative. Elle consiste à utiliser la technique du Géopositionnement par Satellite (GPS) pour rechercher ou dissimuler des caches. Le géocache est une chasse au trésor pratiquée à l’estérieur à l’aide d’appareils GPS. Les participants rejoingnent des coordonnées spécifiques ou ils tentent de trouver la géocache (boîte) qui y est dissimulée. Le circuit Francokamloops comprend 12 caches dispersées dans la ville de Kamloops, ainsi que le long du chemin du Lac Le Jeune. Ces caches permettent de découvrir l’importante contribution de l’héritage Francophone à notre belle region.

Des activités spéciales seront organisées au cours des prochains mois afin d’accroître la visibilté du circuit. FRANCOKAMLOOPS CIRCUIT
The Kamloops Francophone Association launched the Geocaching Circuit on March 5, 2016. This activity aims to be both interactive and educational. It utilizes Geo-positioning through Satellite (GPS) technique to search or hide « caches ». Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. The Francokamloops Circuit consists of 12 caches, that have been hidden in the city of Kamloops, as well as along Lac Le Jeune Road. These caches allow participants to discover important contribution of Francophone heritage to our beautiful region.

Special events will be organized in the coming months to increase visibility of the circuit. An information table will also be available in different activities organized by the AFK.
