Une langue, des histoires

(One language, many stories)

Friday, September 9th at the TRU Back to School BBQ
Saturday, September 10th at the Kamloops Farmers’ Market

French language and culture have contributed to Canada’s history and are part of what makes its present identity, as a country and a people. Whether they speak it or not, everyone has been exposed to the French language. So come and tell us about the place that French holds in your personal history. Our big book is waiting to collect all your stories…

To begin, we went to meet the students of Sabrina Bérubé’s grade 5-6 class at Collines d’Or school, Alysia Francis’ grade 12 French immersion class at South Kamloops Secondary School and Nancy Palson’s grade 3 French immersion class at South Sahali Elementary Shool.

But we also went to meet the people of Kamloops on Canada Day.

So if you want to contribute to our big book of stories, stay tuned for the events that we will be organizing soon, because we are curious to hear your story…

If you would like to help us collect the stories of the people of Kamloops, you can become an ambassador for the project.
