Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day

It is with great pleasure that the Association Francophone de Kamloops invites you to celebrate the National Day of French Canadians!

When? Friday, June 24 at 6 pm

Where? At the Francophone Association of Kamloops (348 Fortune Drive)

Who? Everyone! Members and non-members of the AFK, French-speaking and English-speaking, with family or on your own… But beware! Registration is required as the number of places is limited.

Food

Cookshack Cravings food truck will serve poutine with real cheese curds, as well as other small snacks (perogys, onion fritters, fried pickles…).
Poutine: $11 per serving (cash payment preferred)

For dessert, the AFK will offer you a slice of cake. And to quench your thirst, remember to bring your own beverage!

Photo contest

We are organizing a photo contest open to everyone on the theme: SHOW US YOUR PASSION!
– Take a photo that illustrates what you are passionate about (eg hiking, music, cooking, animals, etc.). One photo per person.
– Send it before Thursday, June 23, 1:00 pm to administration@francokamloops.org.
– The winners will be chosen by the public during the Saint-Jean-Baptiste evening. 1st prize: $25 gift certificate from Gold Leaf Pastries. 2nd prize: $20 gift certificate from The Art We Are.

Children

Kids are welcome. We will provide games for them (bouncy castle, cornhole, coconut shy, etc.).
